Anderson Chapman
Anderson Chapman, aged 75 years, a well known resident and retired farmer of the north part of the county, died shortly after nine o'clock last Sunday night at his home at Mercer, after a several months' illness of asthma and the infirmities of old age. Deceased was born in Hocking County, this state, but moved to this county shortly after becoming of age, where he was united in marriage to Elsie Hainline. To this union were born wo children, Perry Chapman, of Rockford, and a daughter, residing at Chicago, Ill., who together with the wile survive. Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church at Mercer last Tuesday morning, followed by interment in North Grove cemetery, this city.

Henry Clay
Henry Clay, one of the best known pioneer residents of the north part of the county, died at his home in Union township last Tuesday, aged 84. His death was due to old age. He was born in Cumberland County, Pa., and came to this county with his widowed mother in Ohio. He was married to Sarah Yocum in 1857, and after the death of his first wife married Mrs. Lydia Yocum. Four children survive him. His funeral will take place from the Mt. Olive Church this morning at 10:30, the order of Mason in charge.

Henry Collins
Henry Collins, aged 45 years, a former resident of the county, died at his home at Lima last Monday of tuberculosis. He is survived by his wife and one daughter. The remains were taken to Mendon last Wednesday, where funeral services were held at the M. E. Church.
