LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF DANIEL D. CROSS

IN THE NAME OF THE BENEVOLENT FATHER OF ALL, I, Daniel D. Cross of Black Creek Twp., Mercer County, do make and publish this, my last will and testament.

Item 1st: I give and devise to my beloved wife in lieu of her dower the farm and appurtances belonging thereto on which we now reside, situated in Black Creek Twp., the North half of the North East quarter of Section five, Range one East, Town four containing about eighty four acres, during her natural life, and three cows and choice of two head of horses and harness for said horses and one two-horse wagon and twelve head of sheep and farming utensils sufficient to carry on said farm at my death; also household goods, furniture, provisions and other goods and chattel which maybe thereon at the time of my decease. At the death of my said wife the real estate aforesaid I give and devise to my heirs.

I do hereby nominate and appoint Alonzo Cross and Peter Cross executors of this my last will and testament, hereby authorizing and enforcing them to compromise, adjust, release and discharge in such a manner as they may deem proper the debts and claims due me.

In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 30th day of January in the year 1875.
